BaT TO THE MITTY ROADTRIP 2018

In early 2018 Sam was tasked by Bring a Trailer to join their Community Development Manager Michael Emery in a 1973 Datsun 240z, traveling from San Francisco California, throughout all Southern US States, to Atlanta Georgia for the Mitty Vintage Motorsports festival. The marquee of which in 2018, being Datsun.

Sam joined Michael along the route in Phoenix, AZ, and over the following two weeks would be an on-the-road social media correspondent for BaT’s Instagram, as well as photographer for the daily website updates for the trip dubbed #BaTtoTheMitty.

Along the route, Michael and Sam also adjusted their route and stopped to visit with various BaT buyers and sellers to both conduct interviews about their history in cars and on the auction website, bringing the community of Bring a Trailer TO the community in reporting, and BaT to the community in putting our faces to the name of the company. These interviews and moments in-between were made into a 52 minute video recap of the cross-country trip, currently live on BaT’s Youtube (linked below).
